Dr. Tai Slyne is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Advance Practice Nurse (APN) with board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. With over 9 years of medical practice as a PCP in Family Practice and 20 years of nursing experience, Tai possesses a unique set of skills from a comprehensive background in the areas of medical-surgical, psychology, obstetrics, women's health, case-management and as a primary health care provider across the entire lifespan.
Dr. Tai Slyne is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is federally certified as a Medical Examiner for the Federal Medical Certified Safety Administration (FMCSA). In addition, She has been inducted as a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nurses. She has worked in nursing homes and family practice as an FNP. She also has a Bachelors degree in Psychology.
Her clinical interests include family healthcare with a focus on serving the elderly and the young at heart. She is also interested in health promotion such as physical exams, Department Of Transportation(DOTs), Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Exams International Travel Medicine and study abroad students, missionaries requiring vaccinations and camps, sports physical exams.
During her spare time she enjoys traveling within the United States and international travel. She visits the sick at home and at nursing homes, ministering to the sick. Dr. Tai provides Medical House calls to the patients with terminal illness at nursing homes and in their homes through evidence-based practice care. Her passion is working for the aging population to allow both the living and dying to be fully honored.
