Dr Tai Slyne is a phenomenal clinician. I am coming from a different platform other than a patient.  I am a final year nurse practitioner student.
I was privilege to had Dr Slyne  as my NP preceptor for 11 weeks. I was mentored, educated, motivated , my people person skills has improved significant as I observed Dr Slyne interaction with her patients on a daily basis. She process a wealth of knowledge in the field of psychiatry and medicine. She is emphatic , non-judgmental, caring , understanding,  and provides patient centered care with a holistic approach. At the end of my tenure with Dr Slyne I was motivated,  inspired, I had acquire a comprehensive amount of  knowledge about mental health disorders.  The management of these disorder and how to apply evidence base practice to managed each conditions to ensure patients safety and continuity of care.

When it comes to my mental health I have always been nervous to trust someone to help me.  I was referred to Dr. Slyne by someone I knew through the Aware program. I took a leap of faith and don't regret it one bit. Dr. Slyne is so easy to work with.  When we have our appointments it's not just about how I'm feeling. She asks how I've been and ill talk to her about several aspects of my life. she even gives me simple suggestions from time to time. I am much more than a patient to her as she'll ask me about my personal life and checks in with things we talked about last appointment.

I honestly think I'm on the best dosage of medicine that I can be right now and that's all because she worked with me until we felt it was right.

I first started seeing Dr. Slyne about a year and a half ago upon referral (from a very good friend).  What she has done for me mentally in this time has been just absolutely incredible.  I was suffering horrible, absolutely debilitating, deep, depression which was so bad I was convinced I could never recover.  Well I have recovered and I am enjoying life more than I have in 30+ years.  Please give her a chance to help you enjoy life again.  She is wonderful, and thorough, and nice, and so so very helpful. I came upon Dr. Slyne by an office referral from my previous Dr that unfortunately passed away of Cancer. I had seen him for years and was very nervous when having to change to Dr Slyne. I had my first appointment with her and was immediately feeling “this woman understands exactly what’s going on” . I hadn’t even shared everything with her yet. Dr Slyne was very honest and upfront with me and explained to me  what she expected from her patients. Honesty. A couple years later and I consider her a real friend. Dr Slyne is very professional but her advice is not the run of the mill advice people may get from Dr.s. Dr Slyne’s advice hits home,She cares and you can feel it. She listens to YOU. I’ll continue to see Dr Slyne as long as I can. Hopefully life troubles will let up, but I would still like to have Mental Wellness checks with her. I always enjoy talking to this lady.
